Job Description

UIPS is the pharmaceutical sciences centre of Panjab University and the post is tied to industry–academia collaborative formulation research under the named Impa Laboratories grant.

The engagement is therefore time-bound to the two-year grant window described on the notice.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Essential qualifications: B.Pharm. and M.Pharm. with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PH candidates).
  • M.Pharm. should be in a relevant specialization.
  • Preference will be given to candidates who have qualified GPAT/GATE/Ph.D. Entrance Test or any National Entrance Test conducted by a Central Government Department.
  • The advertisement mentions relevant research experience as preferred but does not mandate a specific number of years as essential, so freshers who meet the B.Pharm and M.Pharm criteria are eligible.

Required Skills

  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical formulation development will be preferred.
  • Good academic records, relevant research experience, and publications will be preferred.

Salary

Emoluments: Rs 10,000/- per month

Additional Information

Selection Basis: Selection will be based on marks in B.Pharm and M.Pharm, research experience, publications, presentations, patents and other accomplishments.

TA/DA: No TA/DA (Travel Allowance/Daily Allowance) will be provided for attending the interview.
