Essential Qualifications
- Scientist-D (Medical): MBBS or equivalent degree recognized by MCI/NMC
- Scientist-D (Non-Medical): Masters in a subject related to Biomedical Sciences or Pharm-D degree recognized by UGC/PCI
- Scientist-C (Medical): MBBS or equivalent degree recognized by MCI/NMC
- Scientist-C (Medical – Microbiology): MBBS or equivalent degree recognized by MCI/NMC
- Scientist-B (Medical): MBBS or equivalent degree recognized by MCI/NMC
- Scientist-B (Non-Medical – Disease Modeling): Masters in a subject related to Biomedical Sciences or Pharm-D degree recognized by UGC/PCI
- Scientist-B (Veterinary): B.V.Sc & AH degree recognized by VCI
Essential Experience
- Scientist-D: 08 years
- Scientist-C: 04 years
- Scientist-B: Experience in Research & Development related to Epidemiology/Public Health.
Age Limit
- Scientist-D: Not exceeding 45 years
- Scientist-C: Not exceeding 40 years
- Scientist-B: Not exceeding 35 years
Selection Procedure
For the ICMR Scientist Recruitment, the selection process will include a computer-based test (MCQs) or interview, or both. The computer-based test will assess understanding of research methods and will be qualifying in nature, with a minimum qualifying score of 75 percentile.
Application Fee
A non-refundable application fee of Rs. 1500/- is required. SC/ST/Women/PWD/EWS candidates are exempt from the application fee. Payment should be made through the online link provided in the application form.
