Job Description
The CSIR-Central Leather Research Institute is inviting applications for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) as part of its ongoing projects. The selected candidate will engage in research activities that require a strong background in pharmacology, biotechnology, or related fields.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research in the area of leather science and technology.
- Perform experiments and document findings.
- Collaborate with other researchers and project staff.
- Assist in the preparation of research reports and publications.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to discussions.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Support the development of new methodologies.
- Provide training and guidance to junior staff and students.
Eligibility Criteria
- Essential Qualification: M. Pharm in Pharmacology or equivalent with a minimum of 60% marks.
- CSIR-UGC NET / LS or GATE / GPAT qualified candidates are preferred.
- Desirable Experience: Minimum 6 months in recombinant expression, cell culture, or animal handling.
- Age Limit: 28 years for Junior Research Fellow.
