    Job Description

    The Research Scientist position at THSTI involves conducting bioanalytical research, particularly in LC-MS/MS-based bioanalysis. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in developing and validating bioanalytical methods, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and contributing to the operationalization of the bioanalytical laboratory. This role is essential for supporting various research projects aimed at enhancing human health through innovative solutions.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct bioanalytical method development and validation.
    • Perform routine bioanalysis of clinical and preclinical PK study samples.
    • Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with quality systems.
    • Prepare and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
    • Provide technical guidance to junior analysts.
    • Participate in internal audits and inspection readiness initiatives.
    • Contribute to the establishment of laboratory workflows and documentation systems.
    • Support instrument qualification and performance verification.

    Eligibility Criteria

    • Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacology, or any branch of chemical or life sciences from a recognized university, along with at least four years of post-qualification experience in relevant fields.

    Required Experience

    • Experience in LC-MS/MS-based bioanalysis, preferably in BA/BE setups, CRO, or translational research laboratories, is a must.
    • Experience in bioanalytical method development, validation, and analysis of PK samples in a regulatory-compliant laboratory is a must.

    Desirable Skills & Experience

    • Experience in establishing or setting up a bioanalytical laboratory.
    • Experience with laboratory operations and instrumentation.
    • Knowledge of analytical workflows, laboratory processes, and documentation systems.
    • Preparation and implementation of SOPs, laboratory practices, and quality-compliant procedures.
    • Ability to operate, troubleshoot, and maintain LC-MS/MS and HPLC systems.
    • Experience with instrument qualification, calibration, preventive maintenance, and performance verification.
    • Familiarity with bioanalytical regulatory guidance such as USFDA and EMA.
    • Knowledge of ICH M10 bioanalytical method validation guidance.
    • Awareness of 21 CFR Part 58 (GLP regulations).
    • Knowledge of laboratory safety and good documentation practices.
    • Ability to provide technical guidance to junior analysts and laboratory staff.
