Vacancy Details

Job Description

The selected candidates for the scientist job positions will be responsible for developing new formulations in a laboratory setting using both continuous and traditional batch processes. They will also be expected to write manuscripts for scientific publications and perform other assigned research work, contributing to the ongoing projects at NIPER Kolkata.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new formulations using continuous and traditional batch processes.
• Write manuscripts for scientific publications.
• Conduct research and development activities as assigned.
• Collaborate with team members on various projects.
• Maintain accurate records of experiments and results.
• Participate in project meetings and discussions.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior staff.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Eligibility Criteria

• Formulation Scientist-I: First class master’s degree (M.Pharm/M.S. (Pharm)/M. Tech) in Pharmaceutics/Quality Assurance/Industrial Pharmacy with 3 years of experience in academic/industry research/product design and development, with at least one research paper in an SCI journal.
• Formulation Scientist-II: Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics/Industrial Pharmacy with 2 years of experience in academic/industry research/product design and development, with at least one research paper in an SCI journal.
• Experience in solid oral dosage forms is desirable for both positions.
