Job Description
In this Supply Chain Job at Lonza Career, the selected candidate will manage supplier quality activities across the global network, ensuring compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and business expectations. The role involves reviewing supplier-related documentation, assessing quality risks, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. You will work closely with Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Procurement, Supply Chain, Planning, and Technical teams to maintain supplier quality systems and ensure an uninterrupted supply of materials, equipment, and services required for pharmaceutical operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage supplier quality processes and documentation
- Handle Vendor Change Notifications (VCNs)
- Review and manage Supplier Quality Agreements (QAAs)
- Investigate and coordinate supplier complaints
- Review supply chain records for materials and services
- Conduct supplier risk assessments and impact evaluations
- Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders
- Maintain supplier quality documentation and records
- Support audits, inspections, and compliance activities
- Monitor supplier quality KPIs and improvement initiatives
- Ensure alignment with global quality systems and processes
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Degree in Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related scientific discipline
- Experience: Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences industry. Understanding of quality systems and supply chain operations
