Job Description
The Project Associate at Syneos Health will play a crucial role in managing clinical trials, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and effectively. This position involves driving the planning and execution of clinical trial elements in partnership with the Project Lead, ensuring adherence to strict timelines and budgets, and coordinating internal resources and third-party vendors. The Project Associate will also conduct ongoing analyses of project performance and maintain comprehensive documentation to support project goals. Key Responsibilities
- Drives the planning and execution of elements of clinical trials in partnership with the Project Lead.
- Ensures projects adhere to strict timelines and are delivered within budget.
- Coordinates internal resources and third parties/vendors for the efficient execution of projects.
- Conducts ongoing analysis of project performance to drive the successful completion of short- and long-term goals.
- May maintain and distribute study-specific financial reports and contribute to the study’s financial health using financial processes and systems.
- Document the project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders.
- Leads communication between project team members, ensuring all parties are informed of project status and changes.
- Documents and escalates project risks and issues and drives timely follow-through and completion.
- Maintenance of systems and project management tools and methodologies.
- Drives quality assurance activities, including preparation for audits and internal review, prepares documentation, and follows through to resolution on actionable issues.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in life sciences, medicine, pharmacy, nursing, project management, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience.
- Knowledge of Clinical Trial Systems, CTMS, TMF, PDC (Project Delivery Center), SOPNet, etc.
- Familiarity with Good Clinical Practice/ICH guidelines and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time independently.
- Proficiency with MS Office Applications and/or project management software tools.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, both written and spoken.
- Ability to travel if necessary (approximately 5%).
- Effective verbal and writing skills in English.
