    Centre for Management Development is an autonomous institution under the Government of Kerala. CMD has invited applications on behalf of the Drugs Control Department for Pharma Govt Jobs on a contract basis. Candidates selected for this Assistant Drugs Inspector Job will be deployed through CMD to the Drugs Control Department.

    Job Description

    The Drugs Control Department is hiring B Pharma graduates for Pharma Govt Jobs under the Assistant Drugs Inspector Job category. Selected candidates will support medicines regulation activities, field inspections, antimicrobial resistance programs, legal assistance, and enforcement-related activities throughout Kerala.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist enforcement officers in medicines regulation activities
    • Support One Health response to antimicrobial resistance (AMR)
    • Implement the New Program on Return of Unused Drugs (nPROUD)
    • Conduct field inspections to monitor misuse of antimicrobials and psychotropic drugs
    • Collect drug samples for quality analysis
    • Support legal matters and court proceedings under Rule 51 of the Drugs Rules 1945
    • Perform duties assigned by the Drugs Controller/Controlling Authority

    Qualification

    • Bachelor of Pharmacy from a recognised university
    • Higher qualifications in the relevant domain will be desirable

    Skills

    • Strong communication skills

    • Experience in training material development
    • Organisational and analytical skills
    • Good presentation skills

    Salary

    • Consolidated salary of Rs. 30,000/- per month

    Term of Appointment

    • 17 months or until project completion
